Ruth is co-founder of the western 麻萨诸塞州 chapter of NAHN, the National Association of Hispanic Nurses.
The RN-BSN-MSN track is an accelerated program of study available to registered nurses seeking completion of both the baccalaureate (BSN) and masters degree in nursing (MSN). The RN-BSN-MSN program is an articulated plan that includes two bridge courses within the baccalaureate curriculum; and allows the student to complete graduate-level nursing courses while enrolled in the RN-BSN program.
在RN-BSN-MSN计划期间, the BSN degree is conferred upon successful completion of the RN-BSN required curriculum and residency credits. The student then completes the 硕士 program in a selected specialization track to meet degree requirements for the MSN. Students completing the RN-BSN-MSN track will be awarded two degrees – a bachelor of science in nursing (BSN) and a master of science in nursing (MSN).

RN-BSN-MSN候选人
Applicants are required to be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing and meet the requirements for the RN-BSN Program. The following courses are required:

- Introduction to Psychology: 3 credits
- Anatomy and Physiology: 8 credits
- Life Span Growth and Development : 3 credits
- 微生物学:4学分
- Non-nursing electives: 15 credits

Applicants must be eligible for licensure as a Registered Nurse in 麻萨诸塞州.

- 一封推荐信, preferably from an academic source or from the administrative supervisor in the most recent nursing position.
- Official transcripts from all undergraduate programs and graduate level courses.
- Successful completion of a three-credit statistics course with a final grade of at least C+.
- Current resume that includes prior education and work experience.
- Writing sample reflecting applicant’s graduate learning goals and reasons for applying to the graduate program (maximum length 3 pages).
- Proof of licensure as an RN by end of second semester.

Students enrolled in the RN-BSN-MSN track first complete the required RN-BSN coursework listed below. Once a specialty track has been selected for the MSN程度, students continue their education with additional core classes and seminars relevant to their focus.
